Ringside privacy

Ringside is a private competition between a small group of friends who each own an Oura ring. It is run by one of the members, not by Oura.

What is collected

When you join, you sign in with Oura and authorise this app to read your Oura data. It stores:

• your Oura user id, email address and chosen display name;
• your daily Oura records (sleep, readiness, activity, stress, resilience, SpO₂, cardiovascular age, VO₂ max, workouts and sessions), including history from before you joined;
• your Oura access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest.

Who can see it

Only the members of this group, after signing in with their own Oura account. You agree to this when you join. Your data is not sold, not shared with anyone outside the group, not used for advertising, and not given to AI tools.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it. Full history is kept while you are a member so that season and all-time standings work.

Deleting your data

Your profile page has a "Delete everything" button. It immediately removes your account, every stored Oura record and all derived stats, and revokes this app's Oura token. You can also revoke access from your Oura account at any time; the app then stops receiving your data. Any group admin can also remove you on request.

Where it lives

On Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1, served over HTTPS only.
